my first heat stroke...

today i started.............
BAND CAMP!! haha and, i've already gotten heat stroke! (i'm not exagerating)
it was really scary actually; you know when you stand up too fast and all those little black dots kind of swim across your eyes?? well, i was just standing there out on the soccer field (cause that's where we were practicing marching) and all of a sudden those little black dots started appearing. and they didn't disappear! it just got worse and worse until i couldn't see at all! and then, on top of that, my ears got all hot and all of a sudden i could barely hear! my skin felt all clammy and my arms were so weak i could barely hold them up. this kept up for about a minute and a half and i couldn't do anything about it cause we were standing at attention (which is where you can't move or talk or do anything; you're frozen.) then, thank the Lord, my vision started to come back and i could hear, so i broke the rules of band camp and asked if i could get some water. and that is how i got my first heat stroke.

other than that, band camp has been great! everyone is super nice and really funny and it is just a good enviorment. i love band camp (:

well i didn't go to hume so while all my friends were having a blast up there, i was down here doing nothing.
AND school starts in 10 days so the countdown is on!! ehhh i'm soo nervous!

what to do

well i'm up in fresno with some incredible friends but i feel like i haven't been able to spend time with my grandparents who are so gracious about everything, because of my friends... pray i'll get everything worked out. i don't want to hurt my grandparent's feelings by spending the whole entire day before we leave with my friends instead of hanging out with them. sighhhh

oh, summer how I love thee

haha also on today's agenda, CANNONBALL at the wilson's house with my church! that should be a blast and hopefully, i will be able to see all of my wonderful friends (:

while I'm on the subject of church, this past Monday I went to a Dodger's/Padres game with my church and needless to say, the Padres whooped butt. I had a few peanut shells and assorted hard candy thrown at my by loyal Dodgers fans (aka Mr. Olmos) but it was worth it in the end.(: My brother and my dad are going to another Dodgers/Padres game and hopefully the outcome will be the same!

i can't believe that summer is almost over. it's quite depressing...
haha on a different note,
padres game (well it's advertised as a dogers game) with my church today!! :) go padres! haha anybody gonna be there??
