food for thought

When I was in elementary school, I remember I was never involved in drama and i never always was in the center of all the gossip or whatever but it never affected my friendships. Now, it seems like if you're not involved with drama or if you don't have a piece of gossip to add to the conversation, it's like you're not fun to hang out with.
I don't know. It made me think.

oh, the weekend...

well, this weekend was sort of disappointing and sort of amazing. i was scheduled to go to a graduation party and a tea party and a senior prom and a birthday party and a movie BUT instead, i got hauled up to fresno for my grandparents' 50th anniversary. this isn't completely bad because i had a completely wonderful time with my family celebrating the anniversary at the elephant bar and i got to spend a day sailing with my closest friends from camp and then i got to have a sleepover with them, but i really wish i could have gone to some of the stuff down here...
haha owell, i'll just have to make up for it during the summer! (:

8th grade banquet(:

SO. last night was my eith grade banquet and it was AH-MAZING!! we started out with an hour of pictures before and an hour of pictures afterward and inbetween was everything from delicious food to a candy stand for the students to TONS of door prizes to wonderful student entertainment to a clean comedian!
now back up a little bit to the student entertainment.
there were some really good duets and an awesome clarinet solo but my favorite act BY FAR was the everything drama by some of my really good friends who call themselves the performance choir(: Jennalee Joy Johnson played the part of the main girl and Jeffery Hubbard played Jesus. they made me cry. which is saying something because I don't cry. at all. ever. (well except for this one time on the music tour but that's a different story.) anyways, i think they could audition for america's got talent or something and probably win.
on a side note,
heights, i really don't want to leave... i have made so many great friends and now i have to leave them all for high school. shoot, i'm gonna start crying again. what is wrong with me?! ugg.

ok so three days ago I had a track meet with my school and overall, the girls got 3rd place and the guys got 2nd place! (: there is NO WAY I could have done it without God's help!

then, two days ago I went to a French fashion show at Sonora that Anna's brother was in and his group had the theme of The Future. He had to wear sparkly stuff all over his face and a sparkly vest jacket thing(: it was hilarious.

and now I'm tired plus have to go write an essay so goodbye(:

13 days...

There are officially like 13 more day of school and it is depressing....
Don't get me wrong, I am sooo happy summer is here, I might tan!!! (hehe probably not) and I can sleep in and hang out with friends and not have homework and all the other wonderful things that come with summertime(:
BUT
This means I only have 13 more days with all my Heights friends before most of them go off to stinking Whittier Christian... I'm so gonna cry on the last day of school.. Thank goodness for waterproof mascara!

On a side note, Anna's brother, David, is gonna be in a futuristic fashion show at Sonora for his french class which should be some good entertainment on Friday(:

wednesday: day uno of the one and only MUSIC TOUR!!!
thuursday: day two of the music tour!!!
friday: day three of the music tour!!! (we're goin to sea world... you're jealous)
saturday: math placement tests for sonora!

unfortunately , our whole entire draining system in our house is like really messed up so we can't take showers, clean dishes unless we do them outside, wash clothes, you name it and we probably can't do it.
SO, please please please please please please be praying!!!
